First Campout!

First campout is interesting because everyone is trying to memorize names and faces, and trying to make conversations with people you've only known for the past forty-eight hours. Friday is always filled with water skiing, wakeboarding, and canoeing. The food is always really good! Sabbath is always amazing! You can't beat having your devotions with the woods at your back, the sun in the sky, and the lake shinning in front of you. There's just something about nature that gives you peace and makes you feel close to God.

OK, I know I didn't get a whole lot of variety here in the pictures. But that's something I know I need to work on. Ceri's been teaching us that when we take pictures we need to look for the five W's, Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How. I'm so excited to learn more about from photography from her!

Carmen and Anna are so cute! I'm so blessed to have them in my class! Carmen since freshmen year and Anna since Sophomore year. They always make me laugh at their antics. So many inside jokes and years of fun together!

You might be curious as to who this adorable baby is. His name Dawson. He was born to Robert and Vanessa Richards who work here at Fountainview. And he's soooooooo cute!!!

End of Summer

I know this is kind of late but that's OK. I think Estes Park is so beautiful! I went up there with my family on a Sabbath before school started and took these pictures. Sarah took the ones of the chipmunks. It's astounding how close she was able to come to them!

I'm going to try to post pictures from school through out the year so everyone can see what I've been up to. I don't know how faithful I'll be with it but hey, it's worth a try!
